Elizabeth Jane Hurley (born Elizabeth Jane Hurley) is an English model, actor and the former Hugh Grant girlfriend. She became famous in the early 1990s. Hurley accompanied Grant, who was at that time the centre of media all over the world due to the huge box office success from Four Weddings and a Funeral in Los Angeles. Her dress by Versace included a soaring neckline, and silver safety pins. Her most memorable professional career is her relationship with the cosmetics company Estee Lauder. Hurley received her modeling first contract in age 29, and she's used her model for Estee Lader products from 1995. Her most famous film work was when she played Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers' hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley is the designer and model of an eponymous line of beachwear. "I Kissed" a Girl was a more assertive ode sexism accompanied by a hard edged electro-pop rhythm. I Kissed a Girls was an immediate hit, however it quickly sparked controversies. Some critics claimed that the song promoted same-sex sexual relations while others said the scenario which was depicted on the album appealed more to male fantasies. But the mixture of titillation and polished melodicism made I Kissed a Girl become an instant hit in multiple countries powering the sales of her album One of the Boys (2008). The sharp and bouncy second single was also popular. The album Perry created in large portion was sold to over 3 million people.
